Parent Page
Dear Parents,
This page is for you. Here you can download FREE fun summer learning activities and games that will engage the whole family.
Spending time with family and friends, participating in sports, and playing outside— all have a positive effect on our children. All kids need summer break to recharge and, well, to just be a kid.
We at Summer Pops could not agree more. Summer Pops is not summer school. Summer Pops is simply about fitting in a little time to practice the math skills your child learned over the previous years so they don’t forget them. By practicing math throughout the summer, your child will enjoy a cumulative learning effect that will follow them throughout their education.
Each Summer Pops lesson should take about 10-25 minutes and your child should complete 2 or 3 Pops lessons per week. Don’t present it like it’s a chore–just let the kids get in the habit of working on it between other activities, teaching them that good habits are just as hard to break as bad ones.
All the best, and have a great summer!
